A tour of the base (Zero)

Nevena pushed open the large doors to her office, having shown Zero to the other places around the building.
"And this is my office. Come over here I have a great veiw of the city from up here."
She walks over to the large windows in the back of the room. Down below you could see the entire town of Cerulian and on the northern cape as well.
"Isn't it beautiful? I love this veiw, it helps me think sometimes."

Zero had his arms crossed he walked near her staring out the window, then looked at her then back out placing his gloved hand on the glass gently "Cool you could see everything from up here" he said looking at the people.
"Yeah its great, although I prefer soaring through the air though.....now thats a mind clearer for me" he said moving away from the window looking around the office, it was huge.

"Flying is alright. But I prefer to surf with my Lapras Christene. I've always loved the ocean, that salty smell and the wide open pure blue area, it's just so calming to me."
She says, walking away from the window and istting on a corner of her desk.

Zero sat on the far opposite side of the corner looking at his shoes leaning back with his hand on the middle edge for support. He sighed taking a deep breath
"Hmm so let me get this straight...you want the reigning champ of Kanto join Team Nova in order to restore order to the pokemon world....that sounds big I don't think I could do it...it seems out of my league" he said sighing doubting himself of he not up to it, he was a little scared of what to do he never had a decision this big.

Zero had a dull look on his face,
"Well....I um kinda wanna travel I have been in Kanto all my life I still haven't caught much Pokemon yet, and I know there's tales and Myths out there that I wanna explore...so I guess my answer is yes....but if there is a Uniform thing you can decline that"
He said sighing then his pokeball opened from his belt and Umbreon came out with a cry, Zero looked at him surprised.

Umbre pranced to Zero then hopped on the desk then made his way under Zero's black t-shirt tickling him, then Umbreon pops his head out over the collar of Zero's shirt, under his chin. "You sure are close today" he said petting its head

"Sooo....Im guessing there is a type of initiation or something?" he asked her looking at her with his red eyes.

Nevena shook her head softly.
"There's no uniform. There's a just a badge you carry around, nothing big. And all you really have to do-"
She says, turning to him and sticking out her hand.
"Is shake my hand then I give you the badge and everything is basically done."

Zero looked at her then took his cap off his head
"No Uniform good....now a badge I can wear"
He looked down seeing her hand sticking out
"...Im not too big on shaking hands...but since its you I'll make a acception"
He gently touched her hand softly shaking it lightly

She smiles and as her hand leaves his, the badge she mentioned sits in his palm. It's the size of any gym badge, but has the insignia TN in bold writting on a simple cerulian background.
"I know you'll do this team proud. If you see any trainers abusing their pokemon, you challenge them to a battle. Once you win, you take possesion of their pokemon and either set them free, or find a better trainer for them. It's not as difficult as it sounds, but the numbers of these trainers grow almost everyday. We need to have this end, and we need to have this end now."

Zero looked at it then showed it to Umbreon who crawled from under his shirt
"Check this out buddy we are a official"
Zero flicked it up like a coin and caught it then looked at her as Umbreon walked around
"Hey can you put this on my collar for me Nev?"

"Oh sure thing."
She walks over and pins the badge to his collar. She smiles at him after she finishes.
"Welcome to Team Nova."

Zero smiles as she walks over to him pinning the badge on him, he then holds both her hands gently to his collar feeling kinda weird of her close presence like in a trance looking at her.
"Um.....yeah thanks Nev...sorry"
He said letting go of her hands then lowers his cap to hide his face,
"If you need me I'll be on the roof....lets go Umbreon" he muttered turning and heading out the door as Umbreon hopped on his shoulder

Nevena blinks softly and nods in response. Houdini appear beside her, sitting on her desk and looking through a few scattered papers.
'What on Earth do you think that was?'
He asks as he placed the papers down on the desk again, seeing they were just blank.'I'm....not sure...'

Zero made his way to the rooftop with Umbreon on his shoulder he spinned a pokeball on his finger standing at the edge.
"What the heck happened in there, I felt kinda weird back there"
He thought then sighed he lowered his cap a little bit higing his eyes looking at the city below.

Nevena sits at her desk and rests her head in her hand. Houdini sits in front of her.
'Atleast he agreed to join. With him here things will be much easier.'
'He is really strong. And he's also very trustworthy and seems to love his pokemon very much.'
Houdini smiles at his trainer.
'Reminds me of you.'

Zero looked at Umbreon then he placed his hand on his head scaratching it behind his ears gently as he purs
"You know I dont really think Im cut out for this, but with you and the rest of team....I can't lose"
He said smiling then he flicks the pokeball up then catches it smiling
"Still not sure I can trust this girl for only I seen her, but still if there's flaw in this somehow I'll find it no doubt"

'Oh Houdini you don't mean that.'
'Of course I do Nevena. When you first caught me I wasn't too happy. Then Iris and the others began opening up to me and you were nothing but wonderful to me. Plus you're very talented, I could have been taken by a much much worse trainer then you.'
Nevena smirks and shoves Houdini's shoulder softly.
'Shut up!'
She laughs softly along with Houdini.

Zero stood up then looked at Umbreon, looking stories below "I bet you could use some air huh" he said as he was thinking of something to clear his mind of Nevena.
"Hold on tight!"
He said as he closed his eyes then dived off the roof with a cheer, then saw Nevena in her office which made time slow down for him in his vision then he reached back then threw a pokeball
"Dragonite lets fly" he shouted then it swooped down under him catching him flawlessly then flew around the building then up to the sky with Zero and Umbreon on its back.

Nevena is half scared to death as she sees Zero falling. She runs over to the window, and sighs in great relief as she sees Dragonite catch him safely.
"He better not give me a heart attack like that again."

Zero flew around the building seeing Nevena at the window, he pushes his cap up a little looking at her then waves with a smile. Dragonite flies up to the window then Zero stands on Dragonite waving towards him signaling her to come out with him, he then breathes on a window then writes "Zero + Nevena" surrounded in a big heart playing a practical joke then flies away.

Nevena flinches back and blushes softly. She then glares out of the window as he flies off.
"Oh no he didn't"
She walks out the door, returning Houdini to his pokeball. Once she's on the roof she jumps from the top and releases Archibald, landing on his back and flying after Zero.
'Ok, you got me out here, now what?"

Zero looked back at her then flied to the ocean nearby, he looked back as she was right behind him, he turned around standing crossing his arms on Dragonite.
"Your cooped up in that office too much you need more fun once in a while, a girl like you should go out and hang out with friends."
He said looking at her loud enough for her to hear, hoping she didn't take the joke seriously.

'It is true Nev, you need to loosen up. What happened to the let-loose trainer who caught me way back in the beginning of it all?'
Nevena smiles at Archibald then up to Zero.
"Ok then, lead the way, to wherever you wish to take me."

Zero dusts his gloved hands together "Ok lets get you some fresh air, follow me"
He smiled then turned to the front flying just above the ocean with Dragonite, then over the forest then above the road just a simple lap around the city.
"I hope your enjoying this" he said hoping she was, she was the type to be a offical but she was about his age and she needed fun once in a while.

Nevena smiles and as they pass over the water, she leans over and runs his fingers thorugh the cool waters. The tree pass by, and a few Caterpie poke thier heads up to see what all the noise was about. Nevena smiles, it was good just to take a quick lap around the city. It's been a long time since she did this.
"I am! I haven't done this is so long!!"
